July 30 - CXCC East Round #3 - Parry Sound, ON

Light rain the day before the race made for excellent conditions at the famous Parry Sound event. It eliminated the dust but did make the rock sections a bit more slippery – riders struggled through some of the tougher areas but at the end of the day positive comments flowed on the course layout. A big thanks needs to go out to Mike Hurst, Barry Billings and thier volunteers who cut in the new sections.

Yamaha’s Brian Wojnarowski, who excels in the technical terrain, was determined to get back on top of the podium after a second in Alvinston, ON to fellow Yamaha rider Zach Lewis. Brian led from the start with new Yamaha rider Brandon Cambareri in second. Zach Lewis washed out in the first turn trying for the holeshot and had to work his way back up from 6th, he managed to get past Brandon on the 3rd lap but couldnt catch Wojo and had to settle for second.

Both days saw KTM's Bobby Prochnau and Honda's Jason Schrage put on a battle Royale trading leads all day - in the end Bobby managed to win by a very slim margine on both days and capture the Royal Distributing Canadian Cross Country Championship West. Husqvarna's Ryan Graffunder rode hard to manage third overall on both days and third in the Championship.

Sept 10 - Round 2 Royal Distributing Canadian Cross Country Championship & Round 7 of Wiesner Insurance Ontario Cross Country Championship

Motopark in Chatsworth hosted the final round of 3 Championships this weekend
Wiesner Insurance Ontario Cross Country Championship that crowned Steve Bond as the Ontario Champion
Royal Distributing Canadian Cross Country Championship that Crowned Yamaha's Brian Wojnarowski as the Canadian Cross Country Championship
Combining the results of the CEC and the CXCC the first Canadian National Off Road Champion was crowned and that honor went to KTM's Bobby Prochnau the official fastest off road racer in Canada, with Honda's Jason Schrage 2nd and CGRT's Husaberg rider taking 3rd.

KTM's Bobby Prochnau got off to an early lead after getting around the holeshot winner - KTM's Kevin Cockayne - with Wojo hot on his heels. Around the midway point Bobby had a tangle with a tree that broke his kill switch and he lost enough time to drop him back in the pack with not enough time to catch the leaders. Honda's Jason Schrage was charging hard to catch Wojo making up 30 seconds on the last lap but had to settle for 2nd and CGRT Husaberg rider Ben Rego rounded out the podium with a strong ride for 3rd.
